I've been having hassles since last night... like swimming in syrup... seen 300 baud modems faster than this.

All HTTP traffic is down for me as well, local and international. Can only get onto MWEB site.
Started 10-15 minutes ago - was perfect before then.
using different ISP account to post this.

Hi All,

Thank you for taking the time to bring this our attention.I have notified our network team and they are looking into it. I will update this post once I receive more feedback.

Kind regards,
MWEB Guy

May want to send Notice SMS' rather, seeing as people affected can't access FB or Twitter to see the status updates there :)

Hi All

We are aware of a problem with browsing International websites at the moment the problem appears to be DNS related and our engineers are urgently investigating.

Hmmm, and here i was frantically checking accounts to see if debit got fouled......
This #$%#$ up may have been preceded with all the crappy performance recently.

Makes me think about the blackberry %@$$# for few days.

Trace dies at mweb London router indicating this probably isn't a DNS issue.

Nope, not DNS related,DNS resolution is correctly resolving sites

+1,traces die at hop5

tracert www.thedailywtf.com

Tracing route to www.thedailywtf.com [74.50.106.245]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 10.0.0.250

Most of us would be using Google DNS or our own internal DNS so a dns resolution fault would likely knock out home but not business users
