MWEB Uncapped ADSL Feedback

I'm a new MWEB uncapped member (3 days now) and all I can say is wow!! - So far I am impressed and enjoying it. I am not a major downloader etc, so that is not an issue for me, I do a lot of remote support using VPN/RDP etc and have no issues at all, and I now no longer have to worry about top ups etc (I hope). :)

From a Pro-Rata point of view, up until the 18th I owed 127.16 Pro Rata (219/31*18). From the 18th till 31st, I owe 246.58 (588/31*13) meaning that for 2012/01 I should owe 373.74, which is well below the 754.65 amount. I then read that Pro-rata is this months + next months, but 373.74 + 588 = 961.74.

A quick note regarding some short notice maintenance taking place:



The problem which was causing latency on our Durban IPC link earlier in the week has been isolated and Telkom need to carry out maintenance tonight to address this.



This means that the Durban IPC link will be offline tonight from 12am for approximately 1 hour.



During this time Durban customers will be automatically rerouted to the JHB link.



In terms of customer impact Durban and JHB customers can expect a reduction in p2p speeds during the maintenance window and Durban customers will lose any active sessions, such as connections to game servers, when the routing cuts over.



We apologize for the inconvenience and short notice, but I’m sure that our Durban customers can appreciate the need for getting this done as soon as possible.

Hi Mweb guy...

I have a question my speed it wonderful and the moment after I cached the first youtube clip everything is dog slow.... the only way to fix it is to put the router of for 20 min then it comes right again... surely this can not be right ?

Good evening TmanSA, your attenuation is very high; 53.5 dB which could be adding to your deteriorated experience.

Im having lag spikes on WoW and not sure if its the game or the net. Could you reset my session or whatever you do so i can make sure its not my net?

Good evening Bar_Rat, I have re-authed your account. Please reboot your router for an extended period of time and let me know if the reboot helped you.
