Is anyone else in the Cape having difficulty receiving e-mail from MWeb's POP?

Hi please assist, browsing and downloads have been really slow the entire day. Was hoping it would sort itself out by now, but still super slow. Heard about a sat cable break or something?

Also, every sunday at about 7pm my internet slows down to a crawl until the next morning, this has been happening religiously for the last 3 weeks, this sounds odd I know.

please assist, I can provide tracert but no speedtest (too slow connection).

Can't access Gmail. Can't download any attachments from Gmail. Doesn't seem to be the case on other ISP networks. Please look into it.

Jdownloader says "No internet connection" after it tries to connect to a fileserve link. Both on business and home uncapped at two different locations.

Either related to Mweb or the international cable problems again.

any reason my wow latency is 380-500 when idle. and shoots up to 800-1200 when in combat ? , is it another one of those times where we all get throttled to hell ? , i have eliminated the possibility of it being my line or anything on my end by using another isp account. thus only leaves something on your end. i am asking MWEB Guy for a response please.,as this has been going on over the last week. and no-one at the call center seems to know what they are doing besides "recreating your account"

regards brad.

Edit: id gladly take torrents being throttled during the day again gladly for a better wow latency...

Hi, I will investigate this matter for you.

@ Mweb Guy
read on mweb site that fix of the cable will be done by 4th. does it mean we will go back onto SAT3 cable?

P.S. Latency is still bad

Good Evening Everyone

We are currently experiencing a problem in our datacentre which is affecting access to hosted services as well as email and other MWEB services. Access to DNS servers is also affected so this might result in intermittent browsing problems as well.

Our engineers are attending to the fault urgently and we hope to have this resolved swiftly.

We understand that this is frustrating and would like to thank you for your patience.

Kind Regards
MWEB Guy

Back up now for me, but my connection just went offline and no amount of fiddling with router helped >.<
