Hey MWEB Guy;

I'm attempting to download a 17MB file from hotfile. Its http://hotfile.com/dl/134691967/4171147/sn0wbreeze-v2.8b11.zip.html and I need it to jailbreak an iPhone. Problem is its throttled 100%, i.e. its not stalled but its not current download speed in 0.0kb/s. Is this normal?

If it is please could you download the file and e-mail it to me because a 17MB file is not going to abuse the service and I really need sn0wbreeze for a friend. I'm seriously peeved right now.
 
@MWEB Guy I'm having a terrible time with telkom and this whole 3 month free trial special. Is there any way you could organise a trial on the Mweb network so I can at least see if the problem is my physical line and location or if its Telkom ISP.

Unable to reach speeds higher than 200kbps on a 4mb line no matter which protocol/site I choose to download with/visit.

Is it just me?
 
Gaming is not cool again tonight ..... after a week of 320 odd ping and 0.0% to US servers on DDO, tonight it's 355 odd with 1.9-2.9% loss.
 
awesome...another weekend another complete international fail by mweb. thanks so much guys. at least you are reliable.
 
Yep, most international down although not all of it. Total fail +1. I hope this isn't going to last long since this just happened. I have important things I need to do and Im getting tired of this.

Not all websites. Some websites like hotmail.com, mybroadband.co.za, eztv.it and overclock.net.

I think my connection is fine now :)

This is probably not the best thread for this but maybe MwebGuy can answer or fwd this to someone.

I logged a call with Mweb - sent a mail to [email protected] (I think) - anyway I got reply with a case number. I then get a reply from the support guys and we exchange mails (from technic email address), but every time reply I get "Case CAS-xxxxxxx-xxxxxx has been created for you"

The system needs a revamp - each mail to technic generates a different case number? How do you guys track things with so many random case numbers?

Just wondering, I seem to be getting frequent drop-outs, the line works perfectly, but seems to be dropping a lot more than usual? Is there maybe something you could do to help this?

Good morning Chiller89, I checked your account and your router is not disconnecting. Are you disconnecting from websites?
 
That's odd, it just did it like 20 mins ago, the line just drops and has to resync? I'll keep checking and see if its still doing it a lot, thanks

Please let me know if the disconnects become more frequent.
 
I'm getting very slow local and international browsing speeds.

good Afternoon Solja, please provide me pings and tracers to local and international websites. Also please provide me your MWEB account details or email address.
