Please see if you can make out why my ping is so intermittent please

Hi Angryboots

I have reauthed your account now, allow 30 minutes for this to complete.
According to our authentication tools it shows that there are 3 connections running.
Tell me, do you have more than 1 pc connected to router at 1 time ?

Hi MWEB, any ETTR from Telkom with the network issue in Margate, KZN ?
I see no network notifications on the Telkom-SA-ADSL-Network-Notifications page though.. :confused:

We are not experiencing any issues in the Durban area.
I have also tested your line and I can not see anything wrong with the readings.

its met the pain again lol, my pings are now 143 ms any news on what is going on ? I had an idea to test something, can you reset my session and then we test again, just to check if it has an effect ?

I have reset your session, allow 30 minutes then test.

Bang it worked ping down from 143 to 14 ms and download speed up to over 3.50 Mbps

I have tested the news server and I am not having any trouble downloading.
Which area are you connecting from ?
Also send me your MWEB details.

Update:

7am 02/02/2012 my speed dropped right down, Can't access mweb.co.za or facebook.com. webpages are slow as hell again and pings are high! but ping to telkom.co.za is low?

also routed through DBN....

Mweb Guy since the implementation of the Mweb Durban PoP the internet has been really Cr*p.
Can't I be moved to the JHB IPC until you guys can get the DBN POP sorted out?
Getting really tired of this now.
