There does seems to be some international issues i am experiencing as well. Some websites do not load while gaming gets international disconnects. Pings local (7ms) and int (159ms) does seem fine.

Getting insane lag spikes for about 1-2mins, then it returns to normal for about 10mins-2hours and then BAM same story again. Been like this since last night.

Is this happening when browsing, gaming, downloading, etc? Is it happening across the board or specifically with local or international?

everything seems fine, checked the line readings as well. Have you powered down the router and monitored?

Yah, I've restarted the router with no avail earlier. But it has its times when it's completely fine though, but will see how it is for the rest of the night.

Mweb guy please can you help me out with streams on www.own3d.tv

It doesn't matter what time of day I try to watch streams, I always get the same lag. I tried the same on my Afrihost account and there are no problems there.

Please help me out with this.

Is it only with that 1 particular site you having issues with? Other than that, everything else is fine?

I'm having very slow news server downloads. I havn't used them in a long time and was wondering if anything has changed with either settings or priority.

Hey,

I'm still getting those lag spikes, restarted the router a few times now and it didn't seem to help. When it happens I can't load anything nor do anything ingame and get dced ingame from times as well.

Hi Bar_Rat

Is it only the news server downloads that are slow on your side? Is general browsing, http downloads, etc fine?

No setting has changed on our side, everything is still the same.

You said every 2 hours or so you get the lag spikes. What game are you playing when it happens? I could advise you to ask Telkom to re-create the port as well.

It's just the streams on the site that is the problem. It's like trying to watch a slide show on my side.
This on all streams regardless of whether its HD or not.

Shouldn't be any issues with the news servers, I would advise monitoring and keeping me posted with regards to the speeds
