500 ping ingame at the moment ..... yay.

Obviously issues with the DDO link coz everything else is cool :/


PS - tested other accounts, no issues, just Mweb again.

Yeah in the past, have had telephone and email correspondence. Will post the issue in the gaming thread again and see.

Could have sworn there was a sticky thread, I can't find jack now :wtf:

I know this should probley be in some other forum but it does relate to mweb. Im gona up my line/mweb account to 4mb, is there a "upping fee" or something that telkom charge or do they do the right thing and just up it? :P

Hi Handz

There is no upgrade charge, only a waiting period between 7 - 21 working days.

Why dont you wait for the expected Telkom line-speed upgrade? That way you won't be locked in to old packages.
 
As I am quite new to MWeb, I do apologise if I am missing the obvious.

Last night used my WA account and all went well. Great downloads and hassle free. This morning at about 06:45 connect to MWeb and 10 minutes later my connection is down. Reboot router and go to work. Now I check my stats and see that since 07:05 my connection has been down and no action.

As I have a MWeb router, surely when it drops a connection, it should re-eastablish it soon. Also, why am I having all they drops and lost connections (I should have a line fault open with Telkom - not sure on the state of that, but as I said my WA account seemed to be great today).

This really is annoying as my account is a few weeks old, and all went well with the test account. I cannot find an email address for support and hence this post

Mweb Guy will help you just now :)

Send me your MWEB details so that I can investigate the reasons for your dropped connections.
 
Slow bandwidth

Hi, have been getting 400k downloads for some time till last week, now i only get 100k. this wold be on int downloads. i did a adsl speed check and it was fine. Is there a problem on the overseas cables?
