I so have a feeling that MWEB is going down as I just checked and received the email as well for Excessive usage on my 1MBPS uncapped account. I average around 150GB a month, and I don't see that as been that bad. lol.

Good bye Mweb!!! You dug your own grave.Idiots!!!:D

So i decided to cancel after the dreaded throttled status....heres why you shouldn't fall into the so called "premium" 1mb all inclusive trap. They throttle you based on your last 30 days usage which is at 100gb for the 1mb package. Basically I hit 50gb this month already and using my last months 50 gb ( last 15 days of september), they decided to throttle me. Ridiculous really! Why not throttle based on the current months usage??? I never hit 100gb in a month...anyway goodbye to these mweb fools.

Dude , I get your gripe with these okes but the constant bumping is getting old now. Move on.
I have bumped twice... But I agree this one is a little old hat so I will not bump it again

And MWEBs silence is deafening .......... I think someone said it "suck it up". :wtf:

MwebGuy(s) are a but confused as you remember. Perhaps they are gathering to sort out what is counted and what is not counted as usage?

They are probably busy changing the cancellation notice period to 1 year with some sort of penalty attached before quickly changing their TOS. Wouldn't put it past the scumbags.

Well they did change the downgrade to a month, but I suppose you can upgrade without waiting a month :whistling:

Just thought I would update this by demonstrating that the throttling issue has not changed and is still upsetting the good people of SA. Amazing .... It just never ends??

Be under no illusion this throttling issue wont go away soon ... and MWEB still couldn't give a hoot.

PS, MWEB guy, that stable network you were on about .... visit your own FB page and HP ... there are few people who disagree.
