hi everyone..

so our company utilizes a 1024 saix link and with the recent local flooding in the vaal our mpy's copper was destroyed 2 days ago.

we have stable 3g for the last 2 days but i need to get exchange going with our mx record intact for our domain to be visible..

is this possible: http://www.amset.info/exchange/dynamicip.asp

My Personal suggestion would be to get your service provider (who ever hosts the domain and your hosting0 to rather host your mailboxes for a few days/weeks and pop your mail from them. Then get them to give you a usernames and password to send mail through their smtp servers from exchange.

I have done this using a few service providers and it works well in situations where you need to be able to switch between connections.

If you are 2010 sbs it has a built in pop3 connector, if you are on exchange standard you can use a free pop3 collector like PVE collector. You need to register to get a copy.

In the future the only thing you would need to do is change your servers gateway between you saix router and your 3g router.

Rather get your service provider to just spool your mail then they can point their server to your DDNS address. I've done this before works brilliantly
