I love my mx6 much more now. My baby brother drives a R750 K Audi A7, my parents drives a Mazda 3, and the middle brother a mini cooper and vtec-honda...

I drove all of their cars and yes impressive, but here's the thing - I just changed the ball -joints on my mx6 and now the road just passes by me so softly. I haven't even started to replace my rear end bushes yet - No need to and this is a 1995 model. My acceleration is back to 7 seconds again from 0-100 after prolong-it 3 times a year - Engine still standard and quiet at idle. Wow vw-GTI of 2014 I am 0.5 seconds shy from you.

0-100 in 7 seconds in a stock MX-6? Not sure if troll... :erm:

What is the story with these random 1 post wonders?
They pop in and post something unrelated to anything and then disappear again.

Those times look way off. Sub-9 seconds for an 82 kW car? That's pretty much the same as the original Mk 1 GTI, which had similar power but weighed a lot less. I recall the MX6 being tested locally in the mid-8s, at sea level...
I think we got the 120KW version locally. Was a 2.5 V6, silky smooth. The MX6 and the Astina were both very nice cars.

"Ghost" - what
I am doing is bringing the compression slightly back more into play - I NEVER touched the engine and what i did do was when the computer box went {most of the motherboard burned little icees} _ I UPGRADED to an engine management system that does a better job> and the back silencer box is standard but I made the middle box a bigger bottle silencer and got rid of the small bottle>

my mx^ is not kilowatts at the flywheel _ it is kwatts between tarr and tyre _ every a bmw sits behind me on the highway _ boy!!! are they suprized_ I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Used to have a 626 2.5 V6, 215,000km. Loved her to bits! Sounded great with a Powerflow.

Had the 2.5 V6 also, still miss that car! Friend drove it into a wall, very sad day, next car was a 3 cylinder 998cc yaris :(
