MY Bank
I log onto internet bakning once a month. I have no debit orders all is done via EFT. My credit cards are linked to the account, my load account is there and and and.
Your bike and iMac threads would give one that idea.![]()
Sorry if it came accross as blunt and rude.

I pay everyone and everything, and that is it. I don't need to see how much i owe who and and and. I still fail to see why one would need access to that account.
I also pay more on my car installment every month. I know it will be paid off in June next year. So I will pjhone at around Feb to find out if I still owe and how much. If I over paid, they will refund me![]()
You have a lot of faith in the bank. I do not. So I make a point of checking that automatic payment orders go through on their due dates. It has happened to me that payment orders went through twice by mistake.
Also, because we own a business, as part of debt collection I would have to check whether clients paid on time.
I also pay additional amounts into credit cards, etc. from time to time.
Lots of business related reasons for me to use internet banking.
Pitbull: It's called consumer rights. Are you one of those people who could get a fly in their soup and simply keep quiet and finish the meal?
I understand that fully. But why the VF account ? That is what is making me think" wtf"
I think I understand to a degree the reasoning behind it, but is it really necesary to break the poor bank's balls because of it ?
Not read the whole thread.
I bank with FNB. I can see all accounts, vehicle and home-loan (even my Discovery credit card) on my profile.
I actually changed from ABSA to FNB. I had left several messages for the business bankers at ABSA to call and they never did. The first time ABSA called me was to ask why FNB was requesting all my accounts be transferred to them.
Regarding the comment about limits on cards: I've found the secure messaging on the online banking site works very nicely for shifting limits up/down without paper-work/branch visits.Thats for SB...but I'm sure the others have something similar.
