My pc is constantly trying to access the IP: 173.194.0.103

I did a whois, and it belongs to Google.

I don't have the Google Toolbar installed, nor Google Earth, not Chrome.
Any idea what could be causing this?

The process using the connection is a generic svchost.exe

Did you at any time have any google apps installed? Just wondering if it's not the google installer/updater process running in the background.

No google apps installed, did a double check and there's nothing (not even a Google toolbar for IE)

Thanks for the sysinternals tip, I'll wait till the svchost starts downloading again (does it once a day) and will report back :)
Did a full scan with NOD32 as well as Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware and turned up nothing.

So weird.

Sorry for the late reply, so here it is: Process 1008
