My computer screen GOES BLACK<!

It was new 4months back
recently when i was playing my game..
after 10 to 20 minutes.
my computer stop working..
every function shuts down..
monitor turn black meaning nothing to show
u guys noe.. when switching on a computer..
the front of ur CPU has a light turned on..
after my computer system stop working..
the light of my cpu is still on
but everything is nt functioning..

yar.. please help me out thanks.

Welcome to the forums

Try unplugging and replugging your computer's power cable, then try to start up the PC. If that doesn't work, let us know and we'll go from there.

So, it will switch one but the screen will go black?

Might be a bit off but check that your RAM is correctly seated.

I am guessing over heating? Did this problem just start? If it did when last dude you clean the inside of your PC? (Using compressed air btw)

At work I use a vacuum pump.

No, it is just one that the factory guys use to get the dust off their overalls.

well you do know that those can gain a static charge on them, goes near pc, releases charge and there goes something

Haven't had any problems so far. The hoses are plastic and not metal if that makes any difference.

erm i do not noe what s the problem..
but..
it was fine 4 months back
it was New..
erm self built.
it happen onli 1 time a month and now..
happen everytime i enter a game..
mayb some kind of virus?
my mother board is burned or hard disk spoil or even video card..
im so pissed..
but im having examination at the moment so i dun need the computer tt much haha..
