Agreed, the stuff you get in supermarkets is not that great. The wors I got from Grobbies butchery on the Bluff is really great stuff even though probably slightly more expensive than other places.

Grobbies FTW - their Kom-Terug boerie is delicious. Also always festive in there. Now I'm hanging for a boerie-roll too.

I still want to find a nice butcher in my area for meat... (Blouberg, if anyone knows one).

There is a family run butcher along Blouberg Rd at the Boy de goede circle, next to midmar... shopped there loads of times and see it almost every day but for the life of me, dont know what they called...anyhow, meat is awesome and always fresh. They also sell meat packs according to family size that are not too badly priced.
