So this is the scenario:
- Direct Downloads through Firefox or Opera die at some point before completion. The Same downloads through Flashget work just fine.
- Youtube vids buffer to some point, then stop, while everything else on he page still works.
- Occasionally, web pages just timeout.
- Occasionally, on Facebook, pics load halfway, stuck, then dispappear. but the rest of the page is fine. Refreshing seems to sort it out.
Oh, I also tried using my phone as a 3G modem (Vodacom) and i get pretty much the same problem.
So its NOT iBurst at fault, nor the specific modem I'm using.
This started happening in the week, around Wednesday. But I though it was just because I was out of Cap (64k throttle). But its still happening!
Any suggestions?
PS: I specifically chose the iBurst Forum, because you guys seem to know your stuff
EDIT: I solved this problem by turning my ESET Smart Security 5 RC, Firewall off and on again!
