Before you read this please keep in mind that i am a computer illiterate blonde. Firstly i must state from the onset that my internet is working fine but there are just some anomalies that worry me. It starts when i switch on my laptop (Windows 7, 64bit) the modem has to install every time as a " usb mass storage device" and and then launches the " VMC lite 9.3.6.12095 exe file" from the modem even though the programmes is already loaded on the computer.
At the same time on my device manager there is no modem until it is installed then it becomes "ZTE proprietary usb modem" which works fine. But here is the problem, under Network Adapters there is now a "Vodafone Mobile Broadband network adapter" which is not working and when i try and fix it, there is such a conflict with the above modem that the whole computer freezes and i battle to switch it off, so now i just leave it. So any suggestions?
