My LG 42" LED 3D

Higher end screens do have 100hz+ screens and yes, they do tend to make things look fake or documentary like. However - the effect varies on different media ... and there may be occasions you want it and others not. But you have the option to swop.

Budget screens only have 50hz - and there's no option to go back up if needed.

So yes, a 100hz+ screen is not a let down, providing you can figure out how to shut it off :P

In certain circumstances it removes some of the post processing.

The firmware upgrade has unlocked a "fortune" of settings including switching off true motion as well as many other settings which I don't know about yet.
Intelligent sensor is on, the 3D is quite something so far.
The upscaling is beyond amazing, still not sure what PP was talking about regarding dark or light rooms as I have tried both and its amazing either way, I think the TV is a little big for my room.
I have to play with the settings as its all Greek to me

You get used to it, it's essentially processing 50 frames a second instead of 25 from my understanding.

Download and put onto usb stick
Plug in usb stick and turn on tv ;)

Gotta say the LW6510 is much better for that - downloaded the update itself...

I bought the unit and have set it up. I have to play with the settings a lot I guess.
I am using my PlayonHD and am watching different movies which are HD.
I find that the playback is very animated, seems like it is not playing at normal speed but rather slightly faster.
I can see by the voice, the actual picture seems to be playing faster.
I have tried different movies, same thing.
I am watching on 16:9 on both the TV and the player.
Any ideas what could be wrong?
Using HDMI on the side of the TV

Should have gotten a plasma, doesn't have these motion issues.
