Is the sound problem fixed now? I advised you to rather get the non 3D model. You could have saved yourself a few bucks but you would not listen. So much for giving you good advice.

Alas 3D is not for everyone but for others, especially kids, it's awesome. It just adds that extra entertainment value to the experience.
 
I just bought the 47". Busy setting it up, will give feedback later.

Marine what PP was saying is that plasma suits dimmer rooms. Google it if you want. Anyway enjoy your LCD!

Every plasma I have ever seen has a smooth glass panel that reflects every scrap of light.

It's not as bright as LCD, and as mentioned because of the reflection. A dim room counters these aspects. Plasma's general superior contrast and natural picture quite simply cannot be observed under bright shop lighting. Was only mentioning it to you because your room is dim and you initially had a lower budget. You now spent about twice the amount of the 43" plasma and grew to like 3D and LED backlighting... :)

FMI, what brightness/backlight settings are you using?

I had exactly the same with the 42lw6510. Hence waiting for the 4500.

Don't be discouraged. You love the TV. What more do you need?

Do what I did when I bought mine - hook up a computer monitor and display for a solid picture for 3 days. Best part, you can sleep like a baby ;)

Next rent an action Blu Ray and check the explosion scenes .... The actual blast that makes you close your eyes because it's so bright and white, but spare a thought for those that can't achieve the level of brightness and realism :/

I'm only kidding about the static image above - but seriously just go rent a Blu Ray and watch the movie. That should be enough to put your mind at ease
 
I don't know Playon!HD players, but if you're still having an audio sync problem, check if 24fps is disabled in your settings. It often helps disabling it.
 
Damn - now im even more excited to get my TV...
Was initially opting for a plasma but based on all the feedback relating to the reflection - my lounge is definitely not suited.

Opted for a Samsung 46" LED because my PC monitor is Samsung LCD - which is fantastic...
Lets hope Dion Wired will agree to match the price from Foto Discount World...
