My maid has returned

My maid had been missing for 2 weeks leaving me to do all the housework. I didn't know if she'd been run over by a bus or had just left unlikely though since she'd lose half a months salary. I wasn't too concerned since she was on the brink of being fired anyway.

So now she has returned. I inquired as to why she had not been at work and she informed me that she had a "bone" in her bum something or other, couldn't poo ( hand motions made that clear) something, something, something couldn't make out the rest. Shame poor woman how embarrassing having to try and explain it :o. Anyway she has a doctors note but I'm not sure I want to actually read it

Once before she'd disappeared for a few days. Turned out she'd had a baby. We didn't even know she was pregnant

So no house cleaning today for me. A Monday :p
 
Lol, well hope she doesnt cross the "fired" line soon. Getting a new cleaner is a slep.

If -

a) she was gone for two weeks;
b) you tried locating her to find out what was wrong and was not successfull; and
c) she did not contact you of her own accord to let you know what is wrong,

you have every right to fire her.
 
Yes i have always said that having a bone go up your bum was never nature's way but all to their own i guess :p
 
My maid came back saying she was at a funeral (again) had the death cetificate.
It was some girl age 19 died of natural causes!!!:eek::eek:

What the hell is natural causes at 19!!!

And this woman is soon going to have nobody left in her family i she has been to 10 funerals in 8 months!!!
