Anybody with a Jim James fever? I have been listening to My Morning Jacket religiously for years but only met a handful of South Africans who are aware of them, let alone like them. It would be great to know someone else has experienced Okonokos

Haha awesome. Yeah that episode was great. I guess it kinda put mmj on the map for a lot of people, they deserve it.

First time I heard of 'em was back 2005 - on an online compilation series called "Alternative Times". The single One Big Holiday quickly became one of my favourites - which I listened to religiously every time schools closed for the December holidays A few years later Hayley Smith also introduced me to this band, and I was like "hey, I kinda know them!"
Now they're on my top 10 all-time-favourite-bands-list!

Great! There's a great clip of them performing "One Big Holiday" on Conan from 2003 (Carl Broemel is not even in the band yet). Its pretty epic.
