My next case

You can set the fans to run slower when you not using them and pump up the speed when needed :)

Those do look quite cool killa. Was originally considering the same case but they ended up being too small unfortunately.

WKJ? it's not very loud, but when the machine is on, you know it! I've got all the hdd fans, rear fan and top fan running, along with a 9700NT zalman cooler, a 8800gts and a 750w TT PSU, all adding to the noise. On top of that, I don't have my side panel on, ever. But that's just cause I love to scratch! For the goodies you've listed, this casing can handle all of it. I would though be a little cautious about the PSU because some of them have shorter cables than others. Luckily the cables on mine are decent, so I can weave them around the other hardware so that it looks neat and airflow remains unobstructed. Another thing to consider is that each fan has a molex connector (4 pin). You can daisy chain them but because of their position, you could have a bit of a spiderweb going if your PSU's cables aren't long enough. If you have international bw, also check out the video on the antec site about a guy that does a review about this casing. I think it's on the product page on the right. That helped me a bit in deciding as well. Ultimately, take what's best for you. I know alot of the other guys are also suggesting casings, and they're great for them cause that's what they like. One last thing, with all your goodies in the casing, she might get a bit heavy. My specs are in sig and that's all I have to carry around. But admittedly it does get heavy if you have to carry it far.

I've got the nine hundred and I love it, lots of space, lots of airflow (to the point it makes me very in cold in winter as it sits next to me) and has the buttons and front usb ports on the top front. LANs? Not the nicest case to lug around. It's so big that it doesn't fit in the front of my (new shape corsa) bakkie so I have to pack it into it's original box and strap it in the back :)

One last thing, all the fans have variable speed control (3 settings). The higher the settings, the louder the fans...

I don't believe it :p

40cm?! No way. My 25cm is loud enough...

Nrmally their figures are all a little cooked :D
But the larger fan should allow for a lower rpm while still moving the same amount of air.

makes sense the large the fan the less speed the less noise

the one is rated at 12db near silent

big fan moves lotsa at 800rpm

should be silent man

Beanie, if you want more space and cooling/airflow (and are not too much into the whole look), think about the Codegen S201 available in black or white through Sybaritic - I've got the black unit with the following hooked up so far: 2x 450w PSU's jopined for simultaneous boot (mounted on a custom-made back-plate - canned the original), 2x optical drives, 10 HDD's (4 in the 3.5 cages and 6 in the 5.25 bays with spacers), 10 fans on 2 fan controllers for minimum noise (7 intake on front and 3 exhaust on back), and, and, and... the full specs are in my signature link.

The case is a bit rough (and sharp) around the internal edges, but the space is something else! The front panel plastic hinges are a bit flimsy, so I changed them for metal ones (I made them out of some aluminium rivets and they fit perfectly)

Worth a think about - I think it's great value for money and it's pleasant on the eye...

Hmmm, worth a look. But not something you'll be carrying to a LAN anytime soon I guess? :p

Is it just me or does that link in your sig not work?
