Yeah she got pissed because the at newyears I had a friend (who was a girl) stay with us in fishhook, then it got worse when she spent 3 days at my house while her carpets in her flat were being redone. I cannot see them packaging this without noticing the error. I cannot see the law being so unreasonable as to make an unjust ruling that would disadvantage somebody this much for a computing error. Person, if this does go through, play nice and give the people their stuff back.

JasonH - so inorder for me to read your link i had to register. Then i had to check my mail, and activate my registration. NOW, To top it off, is says:

I do not in any way agree what "person"'s doing to Digital Planet, however, i am interested to see what will come from this, and how this situation will get resolved. Should Person get away with this unreasonable deal with DP, I would sincerely hope he gives it ALL back!
For you JasonH to come here and run Person down, is Childish and bad business practice, as none what has happened in the past between said websites / businesses including you - has got ANYTHING to do with the rest of us or ANYBODY for that matter.
I would strongly suggest that this thread be edited and entries removed - so we can see what will come of this incident without this childish Flamewar braught on by JasonH.

I have been asked by the GM of DigitalPlanet to post the following reply. He would have loved to do it himself, but the thread was locked…

First and foremost, Digital Planet would like to thank members of the MyADSL forums who backed Digital Planet in what was an input error in our discount voucher generation system. It is encouraging to see fellow South Africans supporting legitimacy in business as well as supporting local business where possible. We are aware of the measures taken by some members who really went out of their ways to support Digital Planet.
With regards, to the discount voucher error, there was a user input error which set the voucher to have an unlimited use. This was picked up and immediately rectified.
Again, on behalf of Digital Planet, I would like to thank all the members of the forum who backed Digital Planet and would like to make a digital gift voucher available to the value of R75 to all members.
The voucher number is CDT8C, and expires at the end of February.
