lol While not entirely the same, I was addicted to Project Entropia for a while, but, without a credit card or an embossed debit card, getting anywhere is difficult. But boy was it fun.

Second Life just... sucked up my bandwidth like heck... So I never really got into it.... Maybe one day

Might I suggest something like EVE Online for that real economics fix without the constant pain in your bank balance

A study by a Dutch think tank (trust the Netherlands to spend time and money researching this) found that 16% of men surveyed fessed up to experimenting with a different gender in Second Life. The study also concluded that those surveyed most probably lied and that the true figure was much higher.
