My sonoff camera arrived.. and I'm impressed

Have had it at various places over the last few nights and I can't complain. Unbox was easy / Setup was easy / RTSP was easy (just testing to VLC)

Dr Z also likes it :

Will point it out into the garden tonight to test the IR

Both my garden lights as well as patio lights (where camera is placed) on. The camera disabled IR on this last shot due to sufficient lighting


The big white bucket past the tabletennis table is about 10m away... and then further in the distance to the left is a smaller white bucket that's about 20m away. The edge of my boundary wall that's somewhat visible is 30m away.
 
Where did you ship from? What was the cost? Any POE option?

So is this just a wifi camera, or is there something special about it?
 
Sonoff making cameras now? What is the software like?
 
Normal eWeLink software on the phone. It has rtsp feed to import into hass and the like.
 
I have couple of these , they work ok with the app . XIAOMI HD . More toys as i have a proper hybrid DVR .

Looks decent. Unfortunately won't work for my as the comments say no Google home integration.

Get a Wyze cam instead if the Sonoff doesn't tick your boxes.
