Z-2300
Don't know that model but anything with "Logitech" and "Z", id say is well worth the money.
For those concerned:
Front Setup
Rear Setup
Sub ( mind the wires )
...and just to make sure they are what they are, here's the box
Not so. No studio monitors are THX certified.Probably not noticeable to the average ear, but not a marketing gimmick either. If you're an audiophile who needs good sound, you'll be happy to know your set is THX certified. And bragging rights I suppose.

As the Wikipedia quote said, if it says THX, you can be assured of consistent, good quality sound. They also "certify" movie houses etc.
Studio monitors? You mean monitor as in a screen or is that a fancy word for a speaker set up?
Wow. Those must be amazing. But that's a whole new league of speaker.
Do they still sound good if you play mp3's from them? I read somewhere that listening to bad quality tracks on studio speakers really reveals how... bad they are.

Yeah, I doubt it would make a difference to the average ear. Would be interesting to find out.
Bit of a marketing gimmick perhaps?
