Was at my local earlier with a mate and we had biltong with peri-peri sauce as a dip. This stuff is divine but I think someone went a bit overboard with the chilli as it was way hotter than usual, I was sweating like a racehorse, my nose was running. I had some dinner a bit later and any little heat just made my tongue burn as if I had scolded it with hot coffee or something.

Think I'm gonna put a toilet roll in the fridge as I'm scared of what might happen tomorrow!

Hops. They don't make the sauce, they buy it from a place in debbin. It's the most awesome peri-peri sauce I have ever tasted, got lots of flavour with a good bite (except for the latest batch which was way hotter)

Ponder, what is the name of the sauce please. Huge sauces fan. I'm trying almost every hot sauce that i see.

It does not have name from what I recall, just called peri-peri. The company that makes it is has a office in DBN and they supply the restaurant & catering industries. You cannot buy this stuff in normal retail stores.

As you can see they do a lot of bulk sales with some products available in 1 litre quantities. There are contact details for DBN & JHB on that site, think they also have a CT presence. Products are also halaal certified I think.
