I'm pretty sure it's not hotter than the sauce I made the other day.
50ml of sauce, pumped up with 25 habaneros.

Hops. They don't make the sauce, they buy it from a place in debbin. It's the most awesome peri-peri sauce I have ever tasted, got lots of flavour with a good bite (except for the latest batch which was way hotter)
Want some Carolina Reapers?![]()
My habas aren't close to the hottest peppers I grow. I do however have some Naga hybrids on the way. Not quite Carolina Reapers, but I'll probably get some next year this time.
Nice, i got chocolate douglah's, reapers, morgua scoprions, trinidad scorpions and butch-t's this season.
you people should be institutionalized -
It will numb your rear end nicely for you![]()
I just finished a large Jalapeño pizza... going to suffer tomorrow!!!
For you chilli planters when is the best time to plant them out into the garden? After winter maybe September?
I've got a few knee high plants that are looking quite healthy.
Jalapeños really shouldn't do anything.
In fact I think the whole hot stuff = burning arsehole thing is a myth at least with regards to chillies since it's never happened to me.
Curries maybe yes.

End of winter after the last frosts. Watch out for aphids and white fly if they're indoors. I just leave my plants outside because i couldnt be arsed.
Mine are outside once I've confirmed they sprouted properly.
But they went into pot bags and out on the stoep under the roof with with some direct sunlight in the day.
Now i want to plant them out in the garden proper for the first time.
My recommendation is a liter of drinking yoghurt... will mask the agony... I planted a lot of chillies the past 2 years and by far the worst was the bhut jolokia's... They don't have a good taste and they burn for hours after you were stupid enough to bite into one...
I used to think birds eye and jalapeno's were hot not I can eat them raw and I really like their taste, habanero's too.
However my all time favorite is the moruga scorpoin, it has this strong almost rose like taste but burns like fire. I add one to just regular old tomato and onion sauce with pap![]()
