MyADSL Movie Thread

I was kinda disappointed with it, ended up being pretty meaningless (kiss kiss)
 
Finally got to see Jarhead. Yikes those scenes with the burning oil fields were pretty hectic :eek:

darn I wanna go get that movie, is it out on dvd yet? the trailers look good esp how disjoint they seem to be between fights.

Its long and slow. Nothing much ever really 'happens' and its pretty grim.

But that is the idea!

I thoroughly enjoyed it :)
 
Saw Poseidon last night. The 20 other people that were watching left the theatre laughing as well. Funny it was - and i dont think it was meant to be ;)

Plot holes that u could er sail boat through :p

But not too bad for a night of mindless entertainment :)
 
The 40 Year Old Virgin (2005)

Hired this movie today after some friends told me it is funny. It really is and well after the initial jokes that you can expect etc it really is cool esp some of the deleted scenes. Apparently he really did wax those strips of his chest :eek: that musta hurt like @#$. sad thing is his place with all the toys and having played all the pc games/game chair i thought was awesome.:rolleyes: Movie is long though, perhaps a bit draggy.

Indeed, i liked it. Didn't think they'd be able to sustain the one 'joke' over the entire length of the movie, but they did.
 
Aeonflux is such a bore fest! In the end there is at least a lot of shooting, but that doesnt make up for the rest of yawnsucks...

Gonna go see scary movie today...

I would love to get the old Jock of the Bushveld on DVD...

Venom (2005) :o :o :o (2.5/5)
wait lemme add a meter. The movie is based in a southern swampy area + whole vodoo thang. On a whole its got the setting right, think texas chain saw masacre with water, but this is a low budget film with lesser known actors. Anyways that asside typical teen horror type where most of the cast dies. Was expecting worse so i was supprised i watched it to the end. I thnk i just wanted to see em die :/ but yeah ok movie.
