Aeonflux is such a bore fest! In the end there is at least a lot of shooting, but that doesnt make up for the rest of yawnsucks...
Agreed. I fell asleep in this one :p

I just saw Grandma's Boy tonight with a few buddies, we all laughed our asses off.

Really great comedy to see with a few of your friends. Hallicunogen optional, but recommended.

MI3 was ok..ish. About on par with the first two but I can say that it had a different feel to it.

.
Finally saw MI3 - Not like i was rushing to see it :p I thought it was as bad as the second one really. There werent even any really ridiculous stunts to laugh at. :(

Is it just me, or did Superman Returns come out today??

Yeah, i loved Smallville, and the classic Superman movies but the previews have not got me that excited. Think i'll check it out tomorrow though...

16 Blocks. Not bad i'd say. Almost sweet :p
Only managed the first 1/2 hour - does it get better?

You walked out of the movie or had you er got it from somewhere else??

It does get better. First half hour does drag a bit and it is a bit predictable in parts, but its not too bad all in all.

Perhaps I'll go see it again sometime soon ;)

I watched the first half of the movie "Brazil" the other night, I couldn't watch the 2nd half because the disc was scratched to ****. (Last time I lend out my movies, damnit!)

Anyway, the first half was bloody awesome. I had to cry myself to sleep that night. Where the hell am I gonna find it, I doubt any video shops have it!

*I watched the first half of the movie "Brazil" the other night,*

Yes - one of the most intense and depressing and yet amazing movies around. Theres a video store called Oscars in Essenwood Rd. that stock old movies as i recall but ive no idea where u are...

Whats it about? Havent heard about it...

It's set in a post-modern future ruled by extremely bureaucratic government, but it's really not what I expected, was really entertaining and extremely unique and original, highly entertaining! And funny, it's by Terry Gilliam one of the dudes from Monty Python.

*above based on 1st half of movie.

Toad: I'm in Paarl... don't worry tho, I'll find a way to see it soon.

wooh nice one.. movies under R10.. now thats worth it :)

Wanna bring down piracy and illegal downloading? Bring down the price of going to a movie from the ridiculous R40 a ticket to something reasonable.
