It was so different it was cool

Watched We Own the Night today. Not bad actually. Reminded me of American Gangster a lot. Same pacing, same mood and kinda same era( in the past at least).

It is not one for the kids though. There is some pretty graphic stuff in there. The opening scene with Eva Mendes( who is awesome btw) is pretty hectic.

All in all, a bit slow-moving to start with and a few too many scenes in slow-mo that didn't need to be and took themselves a bit too seriously. A great car chase scene like nothing I have seen before. Not action-packed, just kinda unique.

So,ya 7/10 for me

Yep , cool movie. Brilliant performances by both Robert Duvall and Joaquin Phoenix.

Wow.. I am Legend was a horrible movie

Such a slow paced movie... with not much happening..

And no solid ending
