MyBB BF3 Clan

I pity the fool that tries to headshot me with dual analougue sticks :p
 
so is myBB entering the league at all? How will the teams work? Sounds like it could be a blast regardless of how we do
 
I played a little last night. My skill level was -385 when i started. when i finished it was -13.

Also installed cat 11.11. Started getting game cannot launch errors and flickering textures.

That skill score jumps around so much. Was 384 for me one night and when I looked again it was 170. And then at other times its back in the 300s and then sometimes negative. I find it to be quite useless. Kd ratio and spm together give a better picture of someones 'skill' in my opinion.

I think we will but we need members to give it some serious consideration as it's not as easy as folks may think irrespective of gameplay. A league round normally runs for about 6 weeks with teams battling each other once a week, doesn't sound that hard but most myBB are the older crowd with families etc. First thing we need to do is get folks on a roster and to feedback with two simple answers:

1) Are you confident that you will attend team matches regardless for the six week duration.
2) Are you serious enough to get together and practice regularly even if only on public servers.

Folks, keep in mind, we are a open group and playing in a clan league is not a requirment to be part of the clan, its far more a social thing. But for those who intend to go forward to a clan league, once in as part of the team, we cannot change members of that team which is why normally there are fixed places and reserves with reserves switching in and out to give everyone a fair shot. If you haven't registered with DoGaming for myBB please do so and near when reg begins to open, we'll post league topics in that forum as it becomes more competitive and ocviously we don't want to reveal our strategies ( yes Killa , took , archie, we're looking at YOU! :p )

lol, Killa has been with BFC since the first time I saw him on BF2. No way he is moving :p

Well Im in for the league if you'll have me. I have registered with dogaming - how do I join the clan?
 
What are the gameplay considerations when playing in a league like this? What kind of settings/ kit are we talking about? I remember You saying something about there being no spotting?

No spotting.

There were some banned weapons, most notably the Carl Gustav.

It was conquest.

I'll give the league stuff a read tonight and post more, still at work at the mo. Czc pretty much covered the basics of the last league but BF3 is still pretty new so balancing and weapon switching etc is still gonna happen and may change.

BTW Pitbull , was only joking but as you see with Took, there are always lurkers :p . Took, let me get a team together and I'll take you up on that, we've clashed already a few times I see.

My BF3 name is Taliessyn. Damn, I need to change my mybroadband username. Too much confusion!
