There is no place in this country as S*@t as North west province. It sux big time. PE is to windy. Never been further up the east coast than East london. Cape town is the best in my opinion. Gauteng and PTA meh. CPT might not pay as good, but its just so relaxing there. And I love the weather there.

And Durban has the hottest girls hands down. Ive been to every province in this country, even limpopo and there is no doubt in my mind about it ;)

You cannot get more relaxed than PE. We're so relaxed here that nothing actually happens here. I agree on the windy part though. It gets hectic at times but beside the wind, the weather here is actually the best Ive seen in SA
 
Yip, love the weather here. Cape Town is actually more windier than P.E, plus they have Kak winters. PE is so lekka in winter that you can still wear t-shirt & shorts. I have actually swam in the mid June as it was so hot the one time.

Lived in Cape Town most of my life. Was ok, but now, everything is overpriced and the traffic there sucks balls.

What I remember from PE is that golden curtain aint got nothing on maverics and we had a huge piss up at club erotica. Cannot remember to this day how we got to Uitenhage after those brandies they served. :whistle:

We went to Jeffrey's bay for our matric trip. Me and two mates. We didn't know they "served" clients, only thought it was a display. anyway them being friendly small talked to a friend and he was "oh what do you do for a living. She replied I am in the escort business and he went O what do you transport :confused:. That was in 2002. Now he is some executive IT director/manager for his company in the pacific area ( japan, Singapore, Australia etc) even has a British passport.
 
You see this is the kind of thing that gives us a bad name here in PE and he isnt even from here.

But the curtain was a dodgy place :whistle:
 
The other thing about PE. Go walk at Scribante race track at sunset on that grass and see a wall of mosquitoes drying you up. There were millions I am not kidding. I go camping a lot and you get the bastards, but that was a big plague.
 
I like my rain in summer thanks. But I must say, if I could get the pay I get now, I would like to live at the coast. Maybe Ballito.

Does anyone suggest using 8ta for gaming? I dont have a phone line so a fixed line is out of the question coz I'm lank poor. I will be playing Battlefield3 online which apparently uses about 2meg's per minute of data. I would like to use their 10gig/R200 per month deal. I stay well within there 3G coverage area, but aren't there holes? I checked on the site, my road seems fine.

tl;dr

Will 8ta be alright for gaming??

I use 8ta 10gb package. Works well when it works. My in game ping is normally 40-80ms ping & using Teamspeak at the same time.

If i recall i use around 100mb per night while on bf3, that is around 3hrs gameplay.
 
Yes a few people on 8Ta and it does work, I use vodacom 3G for gaming. Its not the best but it works. I would have loved to have a stable ping of below 30 but I don't get that ever. 50-70ms average.

I use Cell C there are guys who use 8ta and others who use Vodacom or MTN. Get some prepaid sims and check which one gives you better results, according to 8ta's coverage map I have fill coverage but when I put their sim in my modem there is nothing, rather test before you pay.
 
It looks like it shoul have been called sky kill not armored kill as I just keep getting raped by choppers/jets/gunships

Far to much running around and more ATV's are needed throughout the map
