MyBroadband DB issues

I was worried for a moment, I thought all you old timers in here did'nt want me posting anymore and instead of just banning me, thought that the Forum had been tarnished now and it would be easier just to shut the whole operation down....

We have found the cause - it is not unexpected. Should sort itself out within the next few hours - please forgive us during this time. At the end the forum will be better and faster :)

We just deleted thousands of spam posts - the search tables are now updating, which is causing the load issues. We hope this will complete soon.
 
just had some page's fail to load on my while Google and all the other stuff working fine

Take the forum offline to ease the load and finish the job quicker?
 
the new posts have been pages are down to two from four?
 
Thanks - we saw a long query locking up the DB - looking into it.
