Over the last few months we’ve made a few improvements to MyBroadband prompted by requests from our members.

New News section

We revamped our news section a few weeks ago (http://mybroadband.co.za/news/). The performance is better and hopefully you like the new look. If you have been using our RSS feeds, please note that the URL has changed. The new RSS feed URL is: http://mybroadband.co.za/news/index.1.rss

Newsletter

We launched a daily newsletter – after receiving feedback from MyBroadband members requesting a daily summary of our news stories. Free subscriptions here: http://newsletters.mybroadband.co.za/?p=subscribe&id=1

Mobile sites

A mobile version of the news section, forum and blogs is available here: http://m.mybroadband.co.za or http://m.myadsl.co.za

That is why I have been here since 2003. You guys and gals rock and keep on getting better.

The only wish I have left is that when some little runt posts in revenge for being banned, ie MODS ARE ...etc) something such as an electric short in his computer could automatically be arranged and paralyse him from the second thread started onwards!

I'm an Internet addict, but these days, i spend 98% on MyBB, and 2% on Facebook.

Just a fantastic site..... real innovative and a case of the "techies" driving the development of mobility and of what works and what doesnt. Real thank you to vodacom3g, Mtn_data_dude, rpm,ic and the rest, to many to name... makes my job alot easier..well I think you make many of our jobs easier.. and I know it can be a thankless job sumtimes. but thanks..
 
And that's why I can wear my myAdsl t-shirt with pride :)
 
Great improvements thanks, can we have more news stories on local companies, but not PR pieces please?

EDIT: To clarify; beyond the Telkom's, Vodacom's, etc. more on the smaller innovators...

Good point - we are trying to expand our news coverage (I think you may have noticed more software and hardware news), but we will try to source some interesting info about other companies.
 
I like the move towards expanding the news coverage, especially more software and hardware articles ...... sort of like our very own Cnet :D
