MyBroadband iPhone and Android forum apps launched

Very cool app. Wrote about it on my blog today as well.
Don't comment much on the web based forums, but can def see myself using the iPhone app...
 
Thanks, MyBB and MyGaming for the Androids apps. Downloaded and they work like magic. :)

I hope I am not too biased to give 'em both 5 stars :o
 
You all have to thank me for this application. I suggested in a thread a few days ago that we need an app for this great website. I am really thrilled that they have responded so quickly to my request. However, I would have appreciated it if they gave me some credit for my suggestion. Yeah, both the XDA and MyBB apps are custom versions of Tapatalk

EDIT: Note on the BB app - it's still in Beta so is fully functional... Not yet like the iOS and Android versions, where you have to pay for full functionality...

update - 2.2 user can do this.

In the Android-SDK\tools folder, type in adb devices and you should get a serial number starting with “H” in return.
All you have to do next is entering adb shell pm setInstallLocation 2. Voilà, you’re done! Android will now install apps to the SD card by default.
To switch back to storing software on the internal memory, enter adb shell pm setInstallLocation 0.

Lol you are a bit behind my friend, I suggested the base application (tapatalk) a good few weeks ago, but well played anyway.
 
I'd really love a BB app for reading front page news. When using the native blackberry browser, my 9700 seems to hang for a good 10 seconds on every MyBB article that I load. Very frustrating!

I'd definitely be willing to pay a monthly fee (R10 - R30) for something like this.

All of you asking for a front page news app... whatever happened to using the RSS feeds? Surely that and a decent feed reader should suffice?

The MyBB RSS feeds are partial feeds, not full ones - you still have to visit the site to read the whole article...
