MyBroadband iPhone/BB/Android apps?

Hi folks

We can have iPhone/Blackberry/Android apps developed for MyBroadband if it is something which you think you will use. It is a rather costly affair, so please let us know if you would rather use the mobile theme or whether an app will make a big difference to you.

The apps will basically make it easier for you to read the forum on your mobile, post responses etc.

I'm using the mobile version on a BB8520 and I don't have any problems, only issue with some sites is the BB's lack of flash. If its gonna be costly then rather not get a BB app is my opinion, but I can't really make a comparison as I don't know what its gonna be like.

What real difference would there be?

Never really had any issue with the mobile version honestly - perhaps on the BB the lack of quoting multiple quotes - but I reckon that's just the mobile version isn't it?

@rpm - why not go the tapatalk route? it supports iPhone, BlackBerry, Android and Nokia. is this what you are referring to?

Since we can't access the 'paid' Android Market in SA yet, how would we then get a version of tapatalk that's able to post replies?

Android's future definitely shines the brightest of all mobile OSes out there. And my favorite? It's open source.

i had the forum displaying the mobile version a while back on my iphone, but now it just shows the normal forum which is not so easy to navigate.
has mybb removed the mobile forum template? or is there a special url for it ?

Must agree with the Tapatalk option on the iPhone. Shouldn't cost MyBB anything to implement...

scud have you checked your setting because i know on android that you can tell it to view either the mobile version of the site or the full version

An Android version of MyBB? Bring it! I think the fact that we will see Android implemented on devices other than phones should be a point in it's favour.

I would like an Mybb iPhone app. The Tapatalk app looks good too. I would buy that if Mybb supported it!

Mr Freesh, I've even cleared my iphone cache & cookies, and still can't find any mobile version of mybb, It just loads up the full site and forum.

I'm curious . Is anyone else able to access the mybb mobile version webite from an iphone ?
