Can this MyGaming posts not be moved into a subsection under this forum ?? i mean its stupid having to open the mygaming post then open another link, so cant all the spam be moved into another subsection where the people who want to read mygaming stuff can go into there, waking up in the morning and seeing a whole page of stupid posts is irritating when trying to find the valid ones where people actually ask questions and want answers.

From my understanding:

MyBB's sister forum: MyGaming is where all the gaming related chats should be taking place. This is the perception we got from the admins of MyBB.
If you don't like the spam I guess you need to post your gaming related threads on MyGaming :p

Agree. And if all the gaming discussion should take place on the MyGaming site, why all the reposts on myBB? Then the admins should just close the gaming forums on myBB and move on.
 
So by the looks of this i dont think anyone is "FOR" this MyGaming here...now if only someone else could see this and make the appropriate sub forum
 
How about we all report the mygaming posts as spam?

I think we need to discuss this with RPM, He and "us" need to come to a agreement.
Yes, there is MyGaming, but there is MyBB too... seperate sites, keep apart from each other.
Those who want to use it can use it, those who don't want too can still use MyBB!

Thanks for the feedback.

We deleted most of the automated feeds, and will now only post 1 headline in the general gaming forum every 12 hours. This should stop all the spam etc.

I hope this helps :)

Why not one post with a summary of the headlines for the past 12/24 hours?

Thanks. But I feel that the OP's suggestion of a sub-forum is more appropriate. The issue is not with the posts or the number but where they show up.

But i think the number is also an issue, i come to the forum to read other posts and then I only see mygaming posts on the first page.
 
Wow! This is great news, I'd have suggested one post a week, but 12 hours is better than nothing.
