MyGig 20 Bundle missing?

What happened to the MyGig 20 promo bundle for R499? I can't buy it via *111# or via the Vodacom website. The promo bundles only go up to 5GB

I just checked on somebody else's phone and they still have the 20GB for R499 option
Any ideas? I am on a top-up contract but I used to have that option.

I logged a fault with customer care and they told me the Mygig 20 is no longer available for Topup contracts :'(

USSD. I think I recall now how I did it. I bought a normal bundle for R499, which is 3GB and my account was credited with 20GB.

Is it available on prepaid by further extension ? Did I misread my phone...is another 5 gig coming? or I'll have to look at Telkom mobile from a CONSISTENT value for money prepaid alternative. Jannie?

They have increased the price for 20Gb to R999 I guess after seeing that 8ta have something in the same price range. R599 only gets you 10Gb from now. Luckily I grabbed my last 20Gb on Friday

Wish I'd done the same. My current bundle will probably run out soon (although I don't know when, because that damned self-service portal still doesn't work).

At R999 for 20Gb there's no way I'll buy another, and I've already signed up for a couple of Afrihost packages. It's a pity though, because the performance of the VC bundles is very very good (wish I could say the same for MTN/Afrihost).
