So you still pay R70 a gig just like every other isp.

Although, other isps charge 20c a meg OOB. So in that way it's cheaper.

youre access is determined by telkoms line rental. ISP provides cap, not access to the internet I think

I would consider it as an emergency account. For when you haven't monitored your internet access and you get capped. You just use this to surf for a day or two while you wait for the end of the month.

Most users here would be considered heavy users and this is not aimed at us but new entrants who want to have a taste of the market.

Its a good offer and if you decide to get more thats your decision...

I'm a bit baffled. My ISP gives me 5 gig international and 25 gig local for R379 vat inc. Is this expensive? You guys talk about R70 per gig. Mine works out to R379/30gig=R12.63 per gig.

Local is much cheaper obviously. Usually around R10-R20 per local gig.

2. Simply using this instead of top-up at their normal ISP.

Personally I cannot understand how any person can even think of using anything but GMAIL.

Sure... use a normal mail account if you like downloading tons of spam and paying for it... I am not even talking about the R29 yet.
