MyISP R60 for 3GB

It does doesn't it....

It is so. The only catch is that you pay alot more than R20 per gig for a top up.
So if you are a power user - ultimately your average cost per gig will catch up and you may end up paying say R40/g.

Compare this to Afrihost at R 29/g or GConnect at R35/g or Screamer at R 23/g.

OK well this is just to shut my mom and sister up. They always complain about the 1GB cap (telkom) and that by the 10th of the month its finish...So im going to get them this instead of TelkomInternet, you think thats a good idea?

It might be local-only.

Best to go for a reputable ISP, such as g-connect, afrihost or screamer rather.

These are the guys that used to provide 250mb free bandwidth right?

Depends on how much you intend to download in an average month. If less than 3g, then this is the cheapest option for you.

If more, then for each topup that you do, it will cost you R 45 per gig. Assume you use 5 gigs in month, total cost is R 60 + R90 (45*2) = R 150. This works out an an average cost of R 30 per gig. Top up more, and that R 30 will rise progressively.

I would take the option of Afrihost at R 29 gig. GConnect is good as well, except that you are required to login on a web browser as well - which is sometimes quite irritating especially if you are not the only user.

Start off with 2G - cost you R 58 - but it is very easy to change your package any time. Also top ups only cost you R 29 per gig.

Mom and sister use on average 80MB data per day..so 3gb should be enough, think about it they are not download freaks so yeah.Afrihost would cost R87, and MyISP R60...just need to find out hows MyISP's stability is.

Well I just went ahead and got Afrihost 2GB..So now my mom and sister hav a TelkomInternet 1GB+10GB local account and an Afrihost 2GB account. ;)

Well get those 3GB for R60 then when you want to top up rather buy more from afrihost then

Ok big up to my fellow TRANCE lover! :D

Yes its very cheap topups is R45 though but even @ R45 its still a cheap option. So if you only use the 3GB the its a good deal. :)

EDIT: It seems that www.myisp.co.za is the same company as www.interprise.co.za How? Look at www.myisp.co.za bank account. Interprise (Pty) Ltd.
