Check your junk mail in the email address you registered with...that's what happened to me, the email contained my login details.

Checked it just now and there's no message. Damn I really want to try this out. Just yesterday I was wondering if there is a way to block private numbers and now this feature is actually available! Too bad I don't have my login details yet. :/

Ok...this is weird, When I select the standard Personal voicemail. Two digits are missing from my number when Trevor says it.
i.e. - If my number is 0123456789, it says 'You have reached 01234589. Please record your message after the bip'
Anyone else have this problem?

On a side note...how do you send an sms from mytools, is it possible?

on MyTools you have an option of various voicemail options other than your "standard voicemail". like personalizing your voicemail for each of your contacts.

you can't send an sms from MyTool for now. but watch the space....

@ Cell_C - I was informed that I'll receive my login details when the sms's went out, but I still haven't received anything. Even tried registering again but I've just been added to the queue once more. :/

I know I have options of using other voicemails. But I would to use this one for now and it is missing two digits of my number!
Can you please inform the programmers to fix this

Me neither, I filled in the form to report the problem on the site on 2011/03/01 and have yet to receive a response.

Cant understand how they overlooked such a basic error.

I believe this is sorted out now. It is corrected in my number. how about yours?

Has anyone had any issues with MyTools lately?

On 2011/06/14 I received the following SMS:

We apologise for the interruption to your MyTools service. We are attending to the problem. Your voicemails are being diverted to the standard Cell C service.

On 2011/06/16 the following:

Your MyTools service will be restored at noon Friday 17 June. Call 144 to listen to voicemails before then, as these will be lost in the switchover. Cell C

Finally on 2011/06/17 shortly after midday:

Your MyTools service has been restored. We apologise for the interruption. Cell C

On Wednesday June 29, I noticed my calls were no longer being diverted to voicemail, I don't know how long this had been happening. If someone called while my phone was off or out of coverage they would just get the message that the subscriber was unavailable. If my phone was on, it would just ring and ring and eventually disconnect.

On Friday July 1, I received this SMS:

We apologise for the interruption to your MyTools service. We are attending to the problem. Your voicemails are being diverted to the standard Cell C service. Cell C

Now my problem is that my standard Cell C voicemailbox doesn't seem to be working. I have tried calling 144 in the hope that this would re-activate it, but I just get Trevor telling me I have no voicemails. Any suggestions?

I have no issues with MyTools being in Beta, and the SMS notifications as they work on, and resolve problems is brilliant.

Voicemail still not working for me, wife's is working fine though. I have reported on the feedback form.

Love the fact that voice mails get emailed to me in mp3 format. I'm on Control Chat and next month I will be going overseas. So I can still check on my missed calls and voice mails for free. I can also send sms's to any SA network.
