I don't think there was a single game that was unaffected by rain at Kingsmead in last year's tournament.

This is probably the worst time of the year to be playing cricket.


Essentially this boils down to being a 70% chance of a game in Durban being weather affected.
Joburg as a similar stat but the rain there usually only lasts a couple hours so there's a substantially lower but still but significant chance of rain affecting play.

Also Joburg & centurion have vastly better drainage systems so as long as its not raining the whole game they can manage to get a game in.

Theres a fairly new drainage system in Kingsmead. The situation has improved a but The main problem with Kingsmead is by the time they clear the pitch to play it starts raining again.
