I don't think there was a single game that was unaffected by rain at Kingsmead in last year's tournament.Match abandoned with no ball bowled. Kingsmead couldn't drain, wet outfield ...
channel 193 I believe...Is the MSL not being televised? Two games today and I don't see any mention of them on the Supersport schedule.
And you did not even pick the first game FFS
indeed, they looked vrot heyGame rained out...Spartans can thank their lucky stars.

For the ignorant among us, I assume that this ^ is the record from Durban? This is probably the worst time of the year to be playing cricket.

Essentially this boils down to being a 70% chance of a game in Durban being weather-affected.
Joburg as a similar stat but the rain there usually only lasts a couple of hours so there's a substantially lower but still but significant chance of rain affecting play.

Theres a fairly new drainage system in Kingsmead. The situation has improved a but The main problem with Kingsmead is by the time they clear the pitch to play it starts raining again. Also Joburg & centurion have vastly better drainage systems so as long as its not raining the whole game they can manage to get a game in.
