Hi got the phone on contract it is a piece of crap it crashes, loses apps, loses signal basically never ever buy one. Now mtn will not replace it with another phone so surely it is against the law to sell a deffective device and not replace it or refund me. What to do? Ram it up the md's ass.

MTN doesnt know its defective when they sell it, thats because the packaging is sealed. If you have a problem with the device approach the manufacturer, the warranty is in place for just such an occurance. N97 is one of my 5 phones i use, switches off all on its own from time to time, confusing...

The N97 without the firmware update is crap. Since I upgraded mine to 21.0.045. Available memory much more. No freezing, faster response, Keyboard working great, Good reception and sound

Its a shame, Nokia's look bad cause of **** OS, Symbian has to be the worst OS ever!!!

im sooo glad the N900 hasn't got it :D

My boss threw his N97 against the wall - and that was the end of it. :)

The fact that the Symbian OS was never designed for touchscreen phones, doesn't help either.

*Oh, and MeeGo is a Linux OS, not sure Rouxenator would be happy with that. Just tell him it's Windows 7 Mobile. :p

Mtn phoned and said I must pick up the phone, I don't want the ducking thing. Will spread the word DO NOT EVER BUY A NOKIA N 97 droid is the way to go.

Hmmm, weird, I got a Nokia N86 (because it's nokia's best phone that doesn't have touch screen), and it's pretty damn decent :D, has most of the features the N97 has :D.

Personal experience tells me be stay away from touch screen, my big fingers never worked with it :(.
