N73 , when ???????

When choosing a Nokia, dont worry about the features on paper that much, rather search for stable software then have a look at the specs!

The N73 is supposedly the most stable symbian Nokia after the E61.
Therefore with all its specs minus wifi, its a decent phone to get!

It also stole the K800's spot as the best imaging handset at this years GSM awards!
Not the camera category just the overall imaging spot!;)

Nokia N73 available from Vodacom.

MTN also have stock of these

Hi there,
First post in the MTN sub-forum... :) been over at Vodacom mostly. :o

I have been waiting for MNP for months but am very picky about my phones. I wanted the N80 and could get it on Vodacom but they are so damn expensive I decided to wait for MNP because MTN is much cheaper.

With all the time passing, the N73 is now available (had a look at it at the Nokia shop, it is a sweet looking phone!!), but last week I went to the MTN shop in Century City and they said they don't have the N73 yet, it will only be available next year sometime, but they don't know for sure....
This true or what is going on?

I am between 2 minds of which phone to get and if I choose N73 and MTN don't have it, I am back at square one :(

Thanks

I went to the MTN shop in Century City

I find these "MTN shop assistants" generally don't know their stuff...all due respect. I keep going to that same shop and I generally get blank stares when enquiring. You would hope someone would take initiative and actually call their procurement department..or Midrand as I've come to know on this forum.

Have you tried the MTNSP outlet just outside the Mall at the Tiger Wheel & Tyre outlet? I enquired about the N93 and YES I'm still waiting since August although Virgin M and Cell C seem to have it already. I was put on a waiting list so lets hope they come through before the end of the year  I know if I see the N93 at Vodacom I will seriously consider moving but they don't seem to have a similiar "Pro 220" contract

Y'ellow All

Yes, we ceratainly have stock. If I read the Quote, it almost indicate that the customer was at a MTN Shop in Century City and not the Service Center @ Century City. Nokia is also in the mall but we are outside next to the Garage.

Regards

That is good to hear, thx MTNDD.
I will make sure it is the N73 I want and then get hold of you if I do not get any satisfaction from the outlets.
