N80 on Vodacom (PRICE!!!)

its entirely your choice , however upgrades in future can only be done at a Nashua or Teljoy Outlet , you cannot upgrade at any Vodacom Dealer .

AFAIK I do not have any specific vodacom dealer at the moment. Will I be able to go to any of these?

I had a look at these specials in your supplied link. On the respective dealers web sites, www.nashuamobile.co.za and www.autopage.co.za none of them mention these specials.

NM only mentions the N80 on MTN. No mention of N80 on Vodacom.
Autopage only mentions the N80 for R1500 on the Talk 1000 contract....

Then I went to NashuaMobile (www.nashuamobile.co.za) and Autopage (www.autopage.co.za) to basically COMPARE and in fact CONFIRM with what VODACOM is mentioning on their http://www.vodacom.co.za/getSpecials.do link

There is no mention of any of these specials on http://www.vodacom.co.za/getSpecials.do, on the respective NM and Autopage websites.

I trust it is clear enough now :(

So what does this mean then?
You can only get the contract through Vodaworld and not get it directly from NM and Autopage?
And you must be in JHB or what?

Ok, I went to the vodaworld site and http://www.vodacom.co.za/getSpecials.do, both sure looks like it is only AT Vodaworld that these specials are offered.

Probably means you physically have to go there and cannot use Internet or do it over the phone... :rolleyes:

I actually tried phoning the number they have under the NashuaMobile one. Nothing happens.
Then phoned the number they have under the Altech Autopage number. "Sorry sir we cant help you, you must go through Vodacom"
So, WTF do they have the numbers on there!!! idiots

If all the above are true, What a crap way of running a 'special' IMHO

Sure, JHB represents all the people in SA. idiots

Or put the correct damn contact numbers on there, if you can do it over the phone!!

It might be clear for a dealer or someone that knows how the system works, but not for a new / upgrade user.

Read my other post for some more interesting titbits.

I actually missed that "Exclusive to Vodaworld" comments they have on the page. They could've placed it better, basically force someone to see it.

Vodaworld is in JHB. I am not. Hence my repeating questions!!
I want it to be dead clear that is the ONLY place you can get the specials from!!
Don't be so ignorant, please.

Read all the posts again and you will see I am still unclear or some things. :)

okay but surely if i live in Put-Sonder-Water (and sonder Vodaworld) and i dont have a Makro in my town, and i see a special on a MAKRO advert then i will presume i cant get it in my town? then surely you will also understand by now, and by

You can't even get the specials from them.

lol, also the FREE isnt on a upgrade, its only on a NEW contract. :) oh and then you must pay connection fee of R200 :)

and dude to summarise. you can get the N80 FREE, ONLY AT VODAWORLD IN MIDRAND (yes, not in cape towns vodashops) and only on NEW CONTRACTS not upgrades, roundabout :D . anything else?

It's free for me = the new contract is less than my current one, which has expired AND I dont have to pay in R1500-2500 for the phone. :eek:

but now it doesnt sound like you are from JHB so you will need to get in your car and drive at R7 per litre petrol to get it? :D
