Johannesburg - City of Joburg mayor Herman Mashaba on Wednesday made a shocking revelation that one of the suspects arrested in connection with a cash-in-transit heist works at Luthuli House, the headquarters of the African National Congress.

"Yesterday I was informed of the arrest of four cash-in-transit heist suspects, among them an individual believed to be an employee at Luthuli House, the national headquarters of the governing African National Congress (ANC)," Mashaba said in a statement.

"The suspects were allegedly involved in a cash-in-transit heist in Dobsonville, Soweto, which led to a manhunt being launched. Some of the suspects were arrested on July 6 while the remainder were apprehended in the early hours of July 7."

ANC Spin in 3...2...1...

Somehow, even if Mashabas claim isn't totally true, the ANC will turn it into a big hole for themselves with their public utterances on the issue.

What does it matter if he was working for the ANC?
Not like it changes a single thing.

He was taken out of context while opening fire on a CIT van. He just wanted to flag the van down in order to ask for directions.

This same guy also scored a farm from the previous minister of land affairs as part of the land redistribution farce.

Problem is he never had water, electricity, tractors, working capital etc. etc. etc.

Gotta give him 10 points for ingenuity though - trying to get the working capital you know!

Darn side better than those MK veterans who sat around on their R46 million farm with nothing to do now.........

Although, one would think they'd be better qualified for CIT heists?
