Made me some Nachos for dinner tonight...

They're so much better than anything you can get at a place like Spur or a pub....

I normally use the Woolies ingedients for my Nachos.

Ingredients:
Woolies Nacho chips
a bottle of the Hot Salsa
a jar of chopped jalapeno chillies
some mature cheddar
sour cream
gaucamole

Method:
Place chips evenly on platter
spread salsa over chips
add jalapeno chillies
grate generous amounts of cheese over platter
place in microwave for 3 - 4 minutes
scoop sour cream and guacamole over nachos.
Serve

Normally gets rave reviews, and very easy to make.

Several Spur's have dissapointed me recently (I specifically tried different ones) and with R65 for Nacho's and receiving cold gooey crap and stupid service each time, I'd rather go to Woolies. Nacho chips + Guac + Cream Cheese + Salsa + 2 types of cheese (they have awesome salsa)

Costs about R120-R160 depending on how many cheeses you buy, but you can make 4 portions out of those ingredients and is much much nicer

Try the woolies Mild Salsa, its much better than spur's

i just use Koo Chakalaka, and its quite good. Its pretty much the same thing

I've tried it, not a huge fan. Its very plain tomatoey. I like the spur one cause it's spicy and does not taste like normal chopped up tomato. Everything else about spur Nachos is average. Their avo is kinda terrible though, tastes processed.
