NAG Online forums shutting down

Gaming publication NAG has announced in a tweet that it will shut down its online forum.

According to the gaming website, the forums will be closed next week.

I was surprised to find out they were still alive as well when CataclysmZA wrote that articles about the CrystalWeb fiasco.

Last bought a NAG magazine in 2006 I think. Used to enjoy the disc with some demo pc games

Stopped bothering with Nag in the early 2000s, the magazine became bloated with nonsense and the reviews were incredibly biased. My 2c.

You arent wrong, I was a huge supporter and subscriber back in the day but it went to turd.

I feel they were publishing alot of their online filler content in the mag. The first few years were quality and then a complete change. I've never (that I remember) been on the forums though. Out of interest is the magazine still going or is it now an pure online publisher?

Long gone now, same as PC format. I was a subscriber to both for a good few years. Used to like to get the yearly goodies.

Ah thanks, haven't looked at a magazine stand in a store in years. I still remember the 1st nag I bought, it was their 2nd mag and had a review of starcraft 1, ah the good old days

Yeah,
Their reviews became pretty crap.

Think they pulled the printed magazines about 3 years ago.
Still bought the last issue purely by accident while waiting at the airport.

The content was passable at best.
