Nationalizing mines only

Abundance For All – NOW!
We, the people, have appointed the government as our servants to do the best for us – THEY ARE NOT SERVING US – THEY ARE SERVING THEMSELVES. They have betrayed the dream of Nelson Mandela and other elders of integrity who dedicated their lives to our freedom. South Africa is one of the wealthiest countries of the world and yet we have more poverty, more hunger, more despair, more misery than ever before in our history. Only we – the people, can change this.

Our Inalienable Rights – The Rights of All People

The country belongs to its people - The land belongs to the people
The water, the rivers and lakes belong to the people
The beaches and the oceans around us belong to the people
The forests, the mountains, the skies above and the airwaves belong to the people
All the minerals in the ground belong to the people - gold, the platinum, chrome, copper, iron, tin, aluminium, diamonds, coal and all others

These do not belong to the government or any other corporation that has unlawfully laid claim to it.
The UBUNTU Liberation Movement and political PARTY presents a solid foundation for a new social structure into a new era of real freedom from economic slavery, and into real prosperity. Our philosophy is based on the principles of absolute equality, decentralised power, creating abundance for all, traditional African values, honouring our ancestors, and Unity Consciousness.

So basically you are asking us to abandon the rule of law and return to anarchy. Have you been to Somalia lately? They got it down like you want.

If you have a corrupt police force and bad crime you dont fix the crime problem by getting rid of the police. You fix the police so that you can better deal with the crime problem. The problem here is not government, the problem here is bad government and we fix our problems by making it a good government.

That^

The mineral wealth should be used for the people in the country not to make an individual or company richer. It should be run by the government. If the profits from the mines where used for South Africa as a whole e-tolls would not be an issue, the NHI would not be an issue.

But not this greedy, self serving, corrupt, stupid, thieving bunch of looters that blatantly disregard the welfare of the people in South Africa.

hell no, minerals do not equate to wealth, true wealth lies in the educational ability of the people. Take Switzerland for example, the country has no mineral wealth to speak, yet they are per capita one of the richest countries in the world

it doesn't sound like a solid structure to me, more like a failed ideology that you wish to put onto people. I'm guessing anyone who disagrees with it should be locked up in a cell...

Of course.

But how are you going to pay the teachers, build schools and universities. How are you going to support these people while they are studying? All this costs money. Getting there costs money. Once we are there this argument is irrelevant. Getting to a point where the masses are educated beyond killing a monkey because its a tokolosh and voting for an idiot like Zuma is the trick.

^ that
and people need to realise it costs money and skills to extract what is in the soil AND Govt. can't even run a bath...

That is why you have banks, corporations, companies, people, charities businesses, all of them which are currently doing a great deal in uplifting society. Imagine how much they could do if they weren't taxed to death.

As a matter of fact having government subsidize tens of thousands of BA degrees isn't going to get the country anywhere. Which is what is currently happening.

I resent this statement; but I'll leave that for another discussion.

Yeah. Stealing a **** load of the worlds wealth, sure makes you rich. Got nothing to do with education.

they say SA is seating ontop of $2.5 trillion worth of minerals
http://www.citypress.co.za/Business/News/SA-mineral-wealth-close-to-R30-trillion-20121115

that is a lot of money. , enough money to make SA a force to be reckoned with. enough money to eradicate poverty and prove Jesus wrong (Matthew 26:11).

But we will always have Mother F***** like Patrice Motsepe , Anglo American etc who will take a huge chunk of it for themselves and give some (very little) so that will be called a philantropists. Mother ****ers who will steal from the masses.

I strongly feel that minerals must be owned by the people ie government and the money spent on developing the country. I m not against entrepreuneship but mining magnates.

ALL Mineral wealth to the People

LOL.. you want to let Zoomer and company aka goverment , have control of all that money? BWAAA!! They will give fckall to poor, they'll just enrich themselfs. They have money ALREADY... but yet they spend billions on arms, zoomer's house.. but not on the poor...

how do they steal it? I would think that they trade for it, you do understand that there is this concept of consent by which people trade with one another...?
I'm only using the words Libertarians like yourself will use when talking about taxes. If one side can exaggerate...

huh, you're making no sense whatsoever. No one consents to paying taxes, else they would be called donations.

True in terms of the value of the reported mineral reserves.

but that's of little value, if you can't extract and export them.... we missed the previous commodity boom and what's the bet we'll miss the next one too

I guess when the Gvt starts nationalizing our very healthy mines the West will cook something up and impose sanctions that will make life harder for the masses and turn the people against the gvt. These mining companies are just covers , their governments are the ones gaining.
