Good point. I have not heard anything about this until now. Perhaps I should go to South African web sites more often to get American news. I suppose people could come up with a good conspiracy theory to explain the limited press coverage but I think you are correct when you call it a non-story.
 
Well if the Kosovan Albanians can do it then why not the real Americans. Next it could be the Mexicans taking back California & Texas.
 
"Lakota Sioux have NOT broken away..."

A pity. I was hoping that they would break away from the US.

Although I'm not sure what mechanism there is for the entire Lakota Sioux to make a decision like this, or who gets to represent them and speak on their behalf, I'm quite sure that a press release by someone who keeps losing elections for the presidency of his own tribe (one of several that make up the Lakota Sioux) isn't it.
